Pat’s passion has been focused on training and leadership development since graduating from the University of Alberta over 20 years ago. Pat initially worked as a facilitator and trainer with the Dale Carnegie organization. Pat refined his training, development and facilitation skills while working with the Alberta Government standards and certification programs for occupations across Western Canada. Pat was attracted into the Telecommunications industry based on his passion for technology, and was quickly promoted into leadership roles with Sprint Canada (as District Manager, Prairie Region), Bell Canada (as Director of Sales) and Shaw Communications (as the Leader of Affiliate Cable Company Relations). While in Telecom, Pat worked to develop people in sales, marketing and operational roles thus refining his coaching and leadership abilities and philosophies.
Coaching And Facilitation Background:
As a Certified Executive Coach and ICF member, Pat has coached senior executives and CEOs at mid-sized to Fortune 100 companies in a wide range of industries. Current clients include KPMG, GENIVAR Engineering, Schlumberger, SAP, Suncor Energy, Husky Energy and WestJet Airlines. Additionally, Pat works with NHL and Olympic sport athletes in transition from pro sports careers. Pat has served on numerous boards of nonprofit organizations, and is an active member and Director of a local Rotary Club in Calgary, Alberta. As an experienced Certified Navigational Coaching Facilitator, Pat has hosted several Navigational Coaching Workshops throughout North America.
