As the Center Director for the Anchorage Small Business Development Center (SBDC), led a team of responsible and motivated business advisors that set the record for most capital infusion by a center in Alaska, with assisted clients bringing in over $20 million in capital.
Enhanced the customer experience when working with the State of Alaska Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing by creating templates that translated complex legislative instructions into forms using common language that helped customers understand what information they needed to provide and how to respond to questions in order to submit their requests.

Coached over 400 clients from start-up ideation while at the SBDC, including coaching the 2018 Alaska Small Business of the Year. Specializes in helping individuals beginning their journey into entrepreneurship through the development of business plans, understanding how to pivot through ideation and launch stages and manage the tenacity required of entrepreneurs.
Experienced public speaker and facilitator, recognized as the top trainer at the SBDC and sought-after speaker for a variety of events, including the Vet Forum, SBA Small Business Awards and various community outreach events.

Successfully owned and operated a 6-figure coffee business with three retail coffee shops and cafes (including catering and delivering) for 16 years in the most competitive coffee marketing in the world.
Worked with dozens of startups as a locally-known expert in business startup and exit-stage advising through community events, including coaching the Start-Up weekend winning business in the 2020 event.
Created and delivered hundreds of workshops for the SBDC through in-person, hybrid, virtual and on-demand pre-recorded webinars.
