Experience Working As A Leader In Organizations:

  • Spent 26 years at Procter & Gamble, Inc., contributing business-building strategies, product and marketing plans; coaching numerous others to achieve their professional and personal goals; improving the cultural diversity of the organization; and developing and delivering global training curricula and programs.
  • Served four years on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Association of Women Executives and Entrepreneurs, leading the organization in the absence of a President.

  • Coach and mentor for over 30 years:
  • In a corporate environment, consistently built technical, business and soft skills of local and remote direct reports, many of whom were promoted; coached and mentored others to identify viable career goals and the path to achieve them; increased productivity and contribution of both high and low performing direct reports via performance management, coaching, and skill development.
  • Trainer, speaker and facilitator for over 20 years:
  • Speaks for organizations such as RBC, Professional Engineers Ontario, Professional Writers’ Association of Canada, McMaster University, Institute of Certified Bookkeepers USA.
  • Builds cultural diversity and improves the business relationships of global employees through training in non-visible Diversity (communication, behaviour, and thinking styles) and leading facilitated Training and Team Action Planning sessions.
  • Improved the training skills of in-house trainers via Train the Trainer training.
  • Delivers frequent workshops, webinars, in-house training across many subject areas.

  • Experienced across all aspects of Business Operations, including Research and Development (product, process and packaging development), Market Research, Product, Marketing and Sales Strategy Development, Organizational Design and Development, Learning and Development, Financial Analysis.
  • Served as Global and NA Initiative Leader leading multi-functional teams through all stages of initiative development and launch, including product, process and concept development and qualification, financial assessments, marketing and sales strategy development.
  • Has been featured in articles on entrepreneurship in Report on Business Magazine and the Financial Post.
  • Led the development and delivery of a global training program for a department of 1300 people that encompassed four management levels across four regions.
  • Worked with senior management on numerous corporate re-organizations including re-defining work, roles, reduced headcount and identifying redundancies.
  • Serves as a Mentor, The Forge at McMaster (start-up incubator for McMaster University and Hamilton Region).
